The last 2 years at this school have seen a steep decline in my opinion. My child's teacher was absent half the year, communication was awful and I was never able to schedule a parent conference due to the many changes between permanent and substitute teachers. Hope it gets better.

I really wish I had the financial freedom to send my 2nd grader to a better school. I have been unhappy with the teachers, principal, school district, PTO, everything. You name it and its below average on my scale.

I think Brantner is a great school. This year they have implemented Ohio Reads to help children get that little something extra, so they can become better readers. I like the 'Caught Being Good ' program because it reinforces good behavior and builds self esteem. I love the A. R. program because it the only way I can get my child to read. They have a wonderful art teacher, who helps the kids explore just about every area of art. Every year they make something that will make you cry. If a parent wants to get involved they can now, with Ohio Reads, or some other level of volunteer work. The gym teacher would love to have your help with field day, which is when every body gets to get out and exercise, so go for it.

We love Brantner Elementary! We have two boys, ages 5 yrs. and 9 yrs. old that attend Brantner. Our oldest son is Autistic and has received the best support for full inclusion that I have ever seen. They go above and beyond to make our son feel like he belongs. Their Special Ed support is wonderful. My five year old loves Kindergarten and is already reading. We have nothing but good things to say about Brantner. They offer a wonderful, kind, safe, loving environment for our children to grow.
