Love the schools and love the teachers. Both of my children have attended Alpine Elementary. The support is outstanding, and the attention paid to the students as children and as well as students is phenomenal. Kudos to the entire staff!

We love Alpine Elementary. Our daughter was pushed farther than we could have hoped. She was reading at the end of kindergarten. Mrs. Papranec was kind, yet firm. We know she is getting a first class education.

My family just moved here from Chicago and we are amazed at the rapid success that our daughter has achieved in such a short time. She's reading a level above her grade and could barely even read when we moved here just 8 mos. ago. She is excited about learning and loves her teachers. They have so many great programs to encourage the children, I've never seen anything like it. To the person that added the first review, did you ever think maybe your child just doesn't pay attention in class. The teachers are there to teach and if your son can't pay attention, they shouldn't take time away from all the others who are just to go back and reteach your son. Think about it.

Nearly everytime my son has homework, he comes home with the statement, mom I don't understand can you teach me this please. Within a half hour he understands the subject at hand. It has happened so often that I wonder why I bother to send him. I understand and completely agree that parents should be partners in the system when attending public school. Helping with a difficult [subject] is not a big deal, but re-teaching the entire subject is a bit over the top don't you think?

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
