I am so proud to be a KIPP Mom. KIPP is a difficult school. It makes the parents and students accountable. Tardy is unacceptable. It made me strive to be more punctual. The emphasis placed on reading and math, and attending college is priceless. This is an Ivy League education that you don't have to pay for. I wish more people would take advantage of this opportunity. Mr. McDaniel exposes these children to places and things, that without KIPP would be just that a dream. He took the Fifth Grade class to Washington D.C. and they went inside the White House. How much did the student have to pay? Nothing but hard work all year long.

As a parent I feel honored that we have access to a KIPP school here in Oklahoma City. My son has only attended for two weeks and already is showing tremendous change. Everyday he comes home he actually answers the forbidding question 'what did you learn today?' with enthusiasm. He is motivated to learn and grow yet at the same time is held accountable for his education. If you have the opportunity to take your child to KIPP it could change their life forever.
