I recently graduated from East Clinton and can say with confidence educationally its the worst school in the County. They offer little variety in classes, and most of the classes are a joke. I took 3 years of spanish got an A all three years and learned nothing. There is a good amount favoritism. The football program is good and so is the basketball program(boys). East clinton is a fun school to go to and your kids will have a blast but learn very little compared to other schools in the county.
As an EC graduate and current parent to an EC student I can honestly say this high school makes strides to be the best in every area of academics as well as extra curricular activities. The Band/Choir are phenomenal and their Art teacher really cares about all areas of his expertise. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone with children in the area!
