My second son just finished his year at EMS. My oldest is an honors student at WOHS and my youngest is a high achiever heading to LMS. I cannot say enough about the Central Sixth, Principal Fitzgerald, Asst. Principal Melendez, the teachers and staff. A wonderful experience for our children!

I am on the green team and I love everyone and everything there. The teachers are all great and the school itself is very unique. I have made friendship that will last a lifetime. I just want to shout out to my group JellyPie!.....

My son attended Edison Central Sixth Middle School during the 2007-2008 school year, and my daughter will attend this year. This school is unique because all students are sixth graders. It was a wonderful way to experience the freedoms and responsibilities that are so important in the middle school environment while keeping young students under the close, watchful eyes of the talented and dedicated teachers and administration.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
