Reedy Creek Elementary School

Kin & 1st grade My daughter and nephew have attended this school for two years. In The first week they started, They lost my nephew twice. Meaning-we went to pick them up and they had no idea where he was. One time was on the fist day--another about a week later. My sister was in tears . My daughter attended her pre-k year in Miami Fla at a magnet school. If you are a parent that is very hands on in education and growing there full potential, You will be very discouraged. While i do find the main problem to be county wide, The staff there have been very unhelpful,rude,irresponsible and lazy. Curriculum is extremely weak. I have asked for them to make available to us options that will stimulate her a little more but, they are content that she stay bored.While Yet they use her to teach other children they neglect her education.

My daughter was a fifth grader last year at Reedy Creek and had the best year of her life! She loved the middle school like sturcture of her team with Mr. Rivera, Mr. Rogers, and Ms. Mastapha. I felt my daughter learned so much more at Reedy Creek than at her school the year before in New Jersey, and she couldn't wait to go to school everyday. Thanks Reedy Creek for being an important part of my daughters life!

My son is an ESE student in PreK, he had a wonderful experience last year in this school. His teacher Mrs. Raith and her assistant were very good to him. I wish there were more teachers like them. I believe they should be training any new teachers that come in to the system, so that we have much more awesome teachers. Thank you. Lissette Gomez
