This is an amazing school with tough classes and very good teachers, Academic, Athletics and Musical Arts are all very good. Waconia has some type of activity for everyone. Other students are really nice and Waconia always has a big student section for every sport!

I do not enjoy it at this school. There are waaay too many students and they are very rude.I dislike that it is not smaller and you cannot be friends with everyone.Very clique. The school is also too small to fit all of the students. They are also waaay too agressive and rude and competitive when it comes to sports.I hate it here.

my daughter has excelled at waconia both academically and socially. her classes are challenging and she likes all of her teachers. she is also involved with the marching band and the program is excellent and she has a lot of fun even with all of the hard work they put in.

After decades of hiring from the 'good ole boys network' Waconia is starting to realize that qualified, motivated teachers make a huge difference. WHS is not strong college prep school, they do not take midterms or finals! athletics, choir, marching band are wonderful...but for challenging academics this is not the spot.

My child works on a old computer table in his room. He also has everything he needs at his fingertips.

We have a homework box that contains everything from scissors to pencil sharpeners....it's portable and so homework can be done anywhere there's a table and chair
