What a difference a school can make! We moved to this area in part for our kids and wish we had done so earlier. Great Teachers, Principal is perfect, student body is as good as you could get on a small island in Southeast Alaska. Parents seem pretty involved and the business community supports parents taking the time to participate. This is not a prep school for the stuck-up, it is closely aligned to the native population and excels at working with a somewhat diverse community. Fights and school yard squabbles are rare and the kids get along pretty well.
