The upper school has a rotating schedule which is confusing to children and parents. The online calendar of assignments are not standardized each teacher enters the information in their own way so it's difficult to track what exactly has been assigned for the children to do for homework. And the athletic calendar is in disarray for one afterschool activity, you may have to pick up your kid at 5:30 one day and 6:30 the next, but the kid finds out at 4:30 that day and if you ask the coach what the schedule is (the online calendar being no help), they don't even know. I think it's great that they're trying to give kids more freedom, but in instances like these it just comes off as a lack of communication and organization at best or disregard for working parents' time and a child's need for structure at worst.

While the school has a great teaching staff, a beautiful campus, and classy facilities, the overbearing religion department pushes for catholic education in all parts of daily life at the school. Expect mandatory religion classes with zealous, dogmatic teachers everyday, prayers said 3-4 times through the day, and mandatory mass once a week. Do not expect your children to enjoy this school if they're not catholic.

Holy Spirit has been the best choice we could have made for our son. After a disappointing experience at another school because of his learning disability, my son is now excelling both in and out of the classroom, This is due to the caring and compassion of the wonderful teachers and administration. The school community as a whole is supportive and fosters a love of learning. The variety of classes offered is amazing, as well as the numerous extracurricular activities available to students. We just can't say enough about how pleased we are with our decision.
