With all the budget cuts, there is limited things for us to do. Some of the teachers here do not do their job properly and do not challenge us enough. Plus, the choises of classes we are given are very limited and many classes are cut each year. I, personaly can't wait to go to college to get out of here.
School is way underfunded, lack of teachers and more budget days off. All three schools get out early on wednesdays
As a volunteer in the ASPIRE Program I witness the professional dedication of staff and administrators. My career was in education and I see so many good things. The students like and respect their teachers. I see team work among the staff, support staff and administrators. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the effort to educate our youth and to encourage them to seek additional education and training after high school.
Students are not fully prepared for college classes. Internal issues with administrators, teachers and staff affect the entire 'climate' of the school. Not enough parent involvement at any level either academics or athletics. Just a handful of parents are involved.
