Prather school is excellent in involving the kids in many activities. Every mo. they have a parent involvement activity that parents and children enjoy. They have a drama show and talent show which my child has benefited from enormously. There are many teachers there who have gained my respect and admiration, who i now consider friends.unfortunely, you cant make everyone happy, but this school really tries to do alot for not only the students but their parents. Parents complain, but I wonder how many of those parents participate in their childs school life.If you dont come in and get involved in their class and activities how can you complain?

At first I thought it was not a very good school, but know I have worked their for three years and when you work there you get a different aspect then when you are only a parent. I have come to enjoy being at prather it is the best job I could ask for everyone is friendly and they treat every child with respect and dignity and equally. The teachers and pricipal are great! Everyone is always happpy and excited to see you every day!

We moved here 4yrs. ago I was told by more than one person not to come into this district. I should of listened. The schools and the teachers are highly unqualified for teaching. My children learned very little from these schools. We left Ofallon where my two kids were a/b students and more or less jumped into a huge fire. My kids grades dropped dramatically. Seemed like none of the work was being explained or when a child asked a question on how to do the homework the teacher would either ignore or yell. Please before sending your children to this school think twice. Its took four yrs. of my childrens education from them but I'm glad to say I'm moving out of the area and they wont be attending this district anymore. Parents of special needs, Beware...Not the district to fall into.

This school is not a place for special needs children. The teachers do not know how to deal with these children. They need to talk to the children rather than screaming at them. Sometimes children don't understand or know why they did something, but yelling is not an answer. Take you kids to a school who actually educated enough to take care of your children.
