SCPNS is a terrific choice for a local, play-based, parent co op. I have sent my two sons here and they both enjoyed their experiences. They always talk about their teachers, and have made some life-long friends. As a parent- I have also made some life-long friends, and have learned a great deal from the parent education component and from participating in the school's governance. I also have observed first hand how effective play-based learning can be for future success in grade school.
I have been a part of SCPNS for over 5 years now with both of my sons. As a parents co-op the school fosters a sense of community and parent education that I think is wonderful. I know that I will remember some of these parents for many years to come. The teachers at the school are excellent. They have a real drive to ensure the children has fun and learn in a play based environment.
