I went to this school from preK to 7th grade and absolutely hated it! my parents were members of the church and the teachers definately play favorites! most of the teachers are members of the church and they treat the chuch kids better. classes are WAY too small as you get into high school (7th-12th) the classes have 7-10 students. HCAs academics are fine in the younger grades, but when you get into real high school greades (9-12) you dont technically get credits. HCA excels in English but everything else is very far behind. when i transferred to a public school i found that in english i was advanced but in everything else i was VERY behind especially math. also you dont get to pick electives..you take the same thing every year, and since your class stays together for everything you dont socialize with other grade levels except between classes and lunch which isnt very good for a social life and doesnt help you learn to make new friends. kids that go to the church also think they are better and can do whatever they want. they are snooty and will do anything to make you feel uncomfortable. overall i hated heritage and dont reccomemend anyone to put their child in this school.

I cannot say enough good things about Heritage Christain Academy! My daughter began the preschool program last year and her teacher and teacher's assistant were truly a blessing to my daughter, as well as my family. I don t think I have ever seen teachers that are so loving, caring and devoted to their students. Additionally, we were continuously amazed at all of the things she was learning throughout the year. My daughter has continued to stay at Heritage in the summer care program and loves it and cannot wait to start K-4 in a couple of weeks!

I am so thankful for HCA. This is a God Focused school that teaches children how to apply scripture to their daily lives. What a blessing it is to hear 3 year olds quoting scripture from memory. The staff at HCA are very loving, dedicated to teaching, and set a Godly example for the children. My 3 year old finished the year knowing his colors, reciting ABC's, learning shapes and much more but most of all growing in the Lord. Great School =)

I am so very pleased with my son being at HCA. They teach and practice the same biblical values as we do at home. My son is 3 and has already memorized numerous bible verses, prayer and blessing. There is currently 8 children in the K3 class and Mrs. Crump knows and loves them all. There is quite no one like her. She is the most loving, caring and patient teacher I have ever known. All the children just adore her. I could not ask for a better preschool environment for my son to be in.

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
