I have 6 kids and already 3 have finish 8th at wrenn I was very pleased with the teachers they really care for the students that want to learn and be someone in life , their sports are wonderful their coaches really tech the kids

E.T Wrenn was an amazing middle school to attend. The teachers were nice, and involved with their students. The teachers here my be a little rough in the begining but in the long run you will learn why.
To say Wrenn is low performing is an understatement: simple rote memorization, no higher order thinking, no challenge, no creativity, no stimulation - but lots and lots of boring and meaningless TAKS drills and preparation. Administration is poor, teachers are either Old School, burned out and bitter dinosaurs, or else young college graduates too naieve and inexperienced (or else unable to secure a position in a better district.) Whatever the reason, the 'teaching' is listless, monotonous, and ineffective. One good thing: the custodians are great!

My child goes here and with the help of the excellent teachers she is an A honor roll student as well as many others. This school AVID program was selected out of the whole state of texas to represent AVID. I am very proud of this school and of its students and teachers as well as the staff, of course.
