I have two kids that attended CREC one still does. He's in Mrs.Roberts class ( who is a great teacher). Been with the school district for 61/2 years the one problem I have is that they no longer have swimming classes and the ski program they had. very disappointed my son won't get to do what his sister got to do.

The school using positive reinforcement tools for positive behavior.. the children receive little paws, super paws to redeem in a super paw cart.. small tokens for good behavior this.. starts in kindergarten through 5th grade.. my children love it.. and they are rewarded in different situations even for good behavior in the bus.

My son has been in this school for 2 years. I think is a great school. He gets all the help he needs for learning.

I had many concerns prior to my son starting school at Clear Run Elementary because of the bad reviews and because of word-of-mouth. It's been 6 months since he first started and I must say that I am really impressed with his teacher, the curriculum, the after-school programs and the ease of getting in contact with the faculty. I met with the principal and she was extremely helpful and my son's teacher is very good with children. I believe that my husband and I have enjoyed the school so much because we participate in the open houses, reading night, etc. My son enjoys learning and he really likes all of his teachers. It's been great thus far.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
