I CANNOT TOLERATE ONE MORE DAY OF MY CHILD GOING THIS SCHOOL! NO ONE HERE CARES ABOUT THE KIDS. THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIFIC. THE TEACHERS ARE LAZY, THE PRINCIPAL COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING, THE STUDENTS RUN THE BUILDING. I AM FRIGHTENED EVERY TIME I GO THERE. I NEVER SEE ANYONE SUPERVISING KIDS. THE HALLS ARE ALWAYS FULL OF KIDS WITH NO ADULTS PRESENT. DO ANY WORK THERE? I THINK SO. WHY IS IT THAT THIS UNACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF EDUCATION IS TOLERATED BY THE ADMINISTRATION AND SCHOOL BOARD? PARENTS WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS...NOW!

I attend this school and Ms. Phillips and Mr. Lee are doing their best to make the school better. We have many after-school programs and extra-curriculum activities. We even have smartboards and Mac Computers and laptops. Even though the student body behavior is out of control, we are getting better. So anyone to say that this school is bad, ummm YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!!!

I am a parent of two children in this school. The principal Mr. Jackson, does not focus on the children's education. He focuses only on their behavior and dress code. He runs this facility as if it were a jail, not a place of education. I attended the open house and all he could speak about was behavior, none of the teachers or the principal spoke about education and what their plans are for the new school year to assist the children in performing at grade level. This school constantly performs below any of the other middle schools in the south suburbs and I attribute that to the lack of leadership in the school district.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
