Covenant Christian School, dba Covenant Home School Resource Center, is a unique place for homeschoolers to get assistance for all the basic needs of home education. Are you searching out the best curriculum? Visit CHSRC bookstore and spend the morning comparing materials from several different publishers. Once decided, you can purchase your books on the spot--brand new, or save hundreds of dollars with used books. Do you want to get a benchmark as you begin homeschooling of your child's knowledge base? CHSRC offers standardized IOWA testing throughout the year and the PSAT in October. Do you have courses you don't wish to teach, or desire a larger class size than one for some subjects? CHSRC offers science, art, language arts and other classes that meet weekly, so you can focus on the areas in which you delight. Do you need encouragement or new ideas or some skill sharpening? CHSRC is linked with a veteran homeschool mom who does fabulous workshops on a number of relevant topics. This is a wonderful little school with passionate teachers/facilitators/staff. I would recommend this school for home educators, especially, who need help with lab sciences and math. The hands-on sciences are engaging and the students learn so much. Parental involvement is a must with students in any educational setting so be involved in your child's education!
