My son has attended this school for three years now. I am greatful to have him attend a school like Riverside Drive. The theachers here are great and take pride in their work. They rellay care about the children. The parent perticipation is excellent and this is something you don't find everywhere. No place is perfect, but Riverside is not far from it.
Riverside Drive takes on the challenges of an ever changing community, and within that process, goes through the changes itself. The school academic atmosphere has become stricter this year, which is great, and will certainly put our scores back on track. The teachers all care so much for the education of their students. The parents are very involved, and it does have a nice private school feel to it. We sent our first two children to private elementary's, to the tune of about 20K pr. year, for each child. Our last two are going through the Riverside program, and honestly, our children who want to excel in school have done so at both places, and our other two, who are moderately interested in academia, have faired moderately well. So there you have it. We have seen both sides, and I would highly recommend saving that money for money for good college.
Our son has had a fantastic experience at this school - love the teachers and the Homework Club has made a huge difference in our lives. A+
