In my experience, St. John's does not have any idea how to handle children or situations that are outside the norm. Teachers turn a blind eye to bullying and any issues that a child may be having with social interaction. While I was at St. John's, I was bullied constantly and ridiculed by my classmates for getting good grades and being somewhat eccentric. When I finally changed schools in the middle of the year, teachers acknowledged to my parents that they knew other kids were excluding me but they chose not to do anything to help me. A similar situation occurred with my sister 5 or 6 years later and she changed schools as well. While I am well aware that bullying occurs everywhere, I have found that St. John's is an especially unwelcoming environment for anyone who does not fit the mold.

St. Johns is an amazing school, hands down. As a former student, and now going off to college, I can happily say that my experience at St. Johns was easily the best of my life. The teachers are amazing, given you do your work (which I learned the hard way). Your class becomes a family where you learn about life and academics.

I love the Catholic community and how they approach situations at the school. Faith holds hands with respect and compassion. Their middle school teachers are strong in their own disciplines, and the educators of the younger children are compassionate and giving.
St. John's is a wonderful school where students recieve a faith-filled eduation. In addition to creating children of faith, the school provides outstanding academic opportunities.
