Elm has wonderful, committed teachers and staff, excellent academic and extra-curricular programs, a fantastic gifted student program, involved parents, and an ideal culture for learning and growth.

Fantastic school. My children have come a long way this school year. We moved last year and this was our first year at Elm. Not only is the teaching superior, but the children in the school are respectful and caring. My experience this past school year was far from superior. I have only the best to say about our new school community.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
