Reading High School has an outstanding faculty, excellent teachers and a great extracurricular program including band, football, basketball, cheerleading and more. The JROTC program offers discipline that many of the students can't find at home.
My children graduated from RHS and my grandson is currently attending. It's a huge school with wonderful diversity. The academic opportunities are complimented by the an array of extra curricular activities - band, orchestra, sports and hundreds of clubs. Go, Red Knights!
Reading High School is a school that has been plagued by the media. Every chance someone gets to give a negative look to the school, they take. When the people who are saying all the negative things about Reading High to begin with, have never even set a foot in the building during school hours to see how things operate. I welcome anyone who is pessimistic about this school to come take a firsthand look at all the hard work being put in to make this school functional.
reading high isnt a bad school at all.i would know because im a jounior there this year. I can say reading high is the best high school I have ever been to, i dont wana change schools. I have great friends and teachers there. People make reading high seem like its a horrible school and its not.Its a normal and the best school in Reading,PA. Thank you!
