This school concentrates almost entirely on sports and extra curricular activities. Parents tend to disreguard poor behavior of students and fight when the staff attempts disciplinary actions . If your son does not play football or your daughter does not have a baywatch figure life will be awfull, and if they do the pressure to stay that way is extreme.

I have had two children go through this school and have a third child who is in 4th grade. I consider this to be a very good school. My only concern is the information provided to parents regarding homework is sometimes lacking (which could be somewhat related to my child's level of responsibility). I would like to be able to have more online information on homework and ways to interact with the teachers. Parent involvement has always been above average, from what I have seen. The school also supervises the children well and offers several good music, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
