Newbury School was generally very good. My child attended there from age 12 until age 4.5, when we transferred her to a pre-K program at an elementary school. There was a good bit of staff turnover among the more junior classroom aides. There were a few times that I felt my child suffered a bit much at the hands of another child, and the staff didn't handle the situation to my satisfaction. But all in all, it was a good place for her to be.
We love Newbury School. Our child was at another school in the area and we were not happy. We were thrilled when we received a call from Newbury. Our child is happy every day and has learned so much in such a short time. I would recommend Newbury School to anyone looking for a quality preschool education.
I love this school. I have had two children go through Newbury and I credit Newbury with giving them an excellent beginning to their education. With regard to the turnover, I have found that it is not as high as other places. I will say when turnover does occur at Newbury it is typically with the younger aides and the older lead teachers are very dependable. The teachers my children had were there for several years and I believe are still there. The school is extremely well maintained and the playgrounds are amazing. The children are happy and seem to thrive in the environment. We love Newbury School and if you are looking for a preschool where you know your child is safe, happy and will be challenged academically, this is the best school.
