This school is wonderful. The teachers take the time to talk to the children, inform the parents about each week's agenda. There is a morning meeting every morning where the entire school sings songs, then each class breaks off into their rooms. My son's class (Ms. Kathy's) preschool then has circle and each child gets to pick a job. It is very arts-based, so there is a lot of painting, singing, moving, hiking. But the curriculum is very advanced. Lots of nature and creativity. The teachers seem very happy to be there. Lots of parent involvement too.

This is the most phenomenal educational enviornoment I've come across in my searching. An arts and drama based, child led curriculum based upon the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education, combined with a 17 acre farm on which to explore and learn and small class sizes gives children an opportunity to 'learn how to learn' in a manner that I would never believe could work until I saw it in action. This school excels at project based learning and provides a warm and accepting environment in which the children can develop both socially and academically. After two years in the pre-K and K program, I was so pleased to know that the school is beginning expansion up to the 3rd grade level in 2006/2007.

Incredible school that has sold me on Arts-based education. The director and teachers are very hands-on, very qualified, very dynamic. The kids are given every opportunity to grow and thrive in this environment. The school also has a nice focus on environmental awareness and respect. The setting and atmosphere (inside and out) of the school add to the whole picture. This is an amazing place.
