For the most part the teachers at this high school are doing great..with what they have to work with. Funding has been taken away, they are being undermined by administration in front of the students and then people are wondering why there is not a happy successful environment for the students. I like uniforms, but to remove a child from class because they forgot their belt is silly. I think every school has trouble makers...why make all the children and teachers pay for the few that cause this trouble. It makes common sense that happy children and happy teachers make a Great Learning environment. This can be done without doing away with discipline.

the uniforms should go, i moved away from george county this past year and now attend a school without uniforms and there is so much more time for school work, there's no isi because of a logo on a shirt or no missing school because you didnt wash your school shirt. its so much easier

As a student i think they should take the uniforms away... They may think there helping but its worse. When you go to class you cant even learn because the teacher has to stop and write someone up! its stupid to get suspended from school for a button on your shirt being undone it so stupid... Our test score is goin to go down because so many people is getting o.S.S or i.S.S and it taking away their learning time... Who cares if a button is undone...? The rules arent fair anyway, jocks, and cheerleaders get their own rules, they get treated different with the uniform rules.. They can get away with everything by ever teacher....! Its stupid and unfair.

Gchs is a great place, i didn't think that as a student,but after a few years in the real world my mind has definatley changed. No matter what school you attend there will always be problems from drug activity,gangs,and bad staffing. But no matter how hard a teacher will teach,if the student doesn't care to learn; then all efforts are a waste. So ponder that before saying what has been being said, about a great school like this! students,if you want better; than step up and make it happen! landis watts
