I have been a parent with this school for many years, having had a graduated and a 10th grade attend that school. My daughter a fifth grade still attend there. I have been pleased the my children's success and education there.
Ms. Blanco is excellent. She came highly recommended when we started, and I can see why. Kindergarten was a very special experience for my son because of the all extra tenacity of Ms. Blanco, and the little extras that she did for her class. My son excelled in her class, and she really makes a genuine effort to teach correctly, and to motivate the kids with positive reinforcement. She also is just strict enough that she has control of her classroom. There is really nothing that I do not like about Skyview, and do not know why it was rated a 6 on this page. Obviously parents love the school.
The teachers and staff at this school are not only highly qualified, they are also a very caring group of people. They really go the extra mile for the children. I highly recommend Skyview to anyone who is looking for a school in which their children can excel academicly. Mrs. Kirschbaum, Miss Price, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Rand, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Lyons, Ms. Earle, and Mrs. Touchton are all highly effective and actively involved with their students progress. In addition to the excellent teachers I have encountered at Skyview, It would not be fair to leave out the head of this establishment. Principal Cowley. He is a man of integrity, leadership, and Character. I believe it is his leadership that motivates the teachers and children to be so successful. Good leaders are hard to find.
Mrs. Blanco is a fabulous kindergarten teacher and is very skilled in what she does. She is a role model for all new kindergarten hires and they are lucky enough to visit her room in action to see how her children learn.
