Omg Academy is awesome the teachers are amazing and helpful, the trips are informative and fun and you really get an in depth view into history!

Its an amazing school... amazing leadership, we all stick together! Teachers are our bestfriends. They dont give up on us. I love Academy of American Studies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Academy has a small close school environment. Its like attending a surbanian high school in the city!

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration,schoolboard,media,even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
