We lived in Banner Elk for a short period of time, but children went to school at Banner Elk Elementary and they loved it and it was the best public school experience they ever had. We moved out of state and we homeschool now, but they still talk of their Banner Elk days and loved everything about the school all the way down to the playground too.:)

The supportive and professional faculty and staff provide strong academics tempered with love and fun! Music and the arts are integrated across the curriculum and are used to address different learning styles and support the standard course of study. My kids have been loved and nurtured at this school and have made tremendous academic progress. I can't say enough for this school.
