Caney High School

I am the Grandmother of one of the students at Caney School, my grand son has Type 1 Diabetis. He has to have special meals and had to take several insulin shots a day. The school teachers ,staff and the principal Mrs.Whitmire has been awsome. Mrs Whitmire gave the shots until he do it on his own. He now has an insulin pump.She makes sure his meals are as they need to be and if anything is questionable she contacts his mother.It really gives his parents and Grandparents a piece of mind. He has to go to school and there is no better place to be than Caney! Thank you Caney Elementary

Caney, in the school year 06-07 will be getting an English teacher that will have our kids best interest at heart Ms. Speers has been in the Oklahoma schools for over 25 years she is a wonderful person and a even better teacher. Caney we are so blessed to have her in our school.

I never thought we would ever get a principal that was there for the children. Mr Brister was one of a kind untill now. I have talked to some of the kids and they think Mr. Daniel is great. You need to keep this man , he is there for our kids. He wants them to learn and at the same time have fun doing it. Another teacher that needs to be incouraged to stay is Mrs.Jackson. She is a wonderfull teacher. She knows what she is doing. A incouraging person, thought full and can teach our kids what they need to know about English. I hope that she will remaine there for at least 4 more years. I think we are finally stepping forward , and helping our kids to help there selves

Caney is a super school that has shaped up over the past 5 years. It is going to do nothing but get better for the years to come.
