What a great school. I am a big fan of the principal as well as the staff and teachers. I only wish the parents were more supportive and positive beyond fund raising. Parents can be intolerant of kids with special needs or issues. Parents should be willing to work with each other to deal with issues instead of pointing fingers.
We love Minnie Gant. The teachers are beyond wonderful, with multiple kids we have hit most of them over the years and haven't been disappointed. The music programs, the computer lab and the library are marvelous. The after school programs like the Go-Fame productions and Talent Shows are fabulous. I am saddened that the morale of our school has diminished over the last four years under Mrs. Lambert, but having experienced a few principals, thankfully they come and go. Having said that I am so pleased to have had my children attend Minnie Gant and be a part of the Minnie Gant family that is the students, PTA and staff..
Great teachers. No surprise that the API scores remain high. Morale, however, continues to be low. The principal needs to trust the teachers. It is obvious that they know how to get the job done.
We think that the school is great. The principal, Ms. Lambert, is very good we think. Whe seems to always be involved and we enjoy the Sunday evening updates. We will do our part to keep the standards high.
