This school is the worse school to send your child too. The principal is awful and very unsupportive. My children hate school and are falling behind. Needless to say they are being pulled out this week. The school claims great ideas but it is not followed through. Each class only has 3 computers and not all the the materials needed. Do not send you child to this school! You will regret it!

This school is on it's third year of existence, and thus far has gone through three principals. The current principal is dismissive, cranky and unsupportive of the schools' excellent teachers and wonderfully involved parents. I must say, he is a true dissapointment. That being said, the Mosiacia model and cirriculim is unique in and of the fact that the kids get to study cultures that many elementary age children don't even know exist, through Paragon. However, in an area where test scores are appalling, I often wonder how much of the focus is being diverted from the basics to Paragon. The school days are long 8:00-3:30, and the schhol year is several weeks longer as well. However, all this quantity is not being traslated into quality. The teachers do the best they can to teach, but it's difficult when administration sends a troublemaker back to class with nary a reprimand.

As a former teacher, this school is a joke. The principal and her assistant cannot handle parent complaints or concerns and their complaints are taken out on the teachers. As a teacher, supplies and curriculum weren't even given to us on time, nor were we trained on any of it until months after the school year was started. I don't blame parents for being unhappy at this school. I felt we teachers had to handle all the discipline issues ourselves, because the administration had no ability. Some of the kids were sent to the office for punching, kicking, spitting and cursing, and the principal would just send them back to class to disrupt learning. I did my best to teach those kids the best way I knew how. Not one teacher at that school wants to come back because of the principal and Mosaica. Do not send your student here.

Theprincipal is not receptive to comments and will say she will do something and not follow through. Supervison is a problem. I have driven by and seen the kids coming down the side of the hill by the playground. It is a poor charter school with regards to testing scores and many kids regressing.
