Success depends on personal drive and good parenting. I was a student at Mansfield High School and I graduated with many students who did not care to better themselves and always blamed their failures on the administration of the High School. This simply is not the case at Mansfield High School. The teachers facilitate an easy transition for students to go to college, the simple fact is that most students don't take advantage of this opportunity. Maybe it was how they were raised? You do not have to be an excellent student and be gifted with wealthy parents to succeed in life. The drive and having parents who actually take part in their child's education is all that is needed for a student to excel in Mansfield High School's excellent programs.

I hate going to school here. Sometimes I wonder if the teachers even like kids. They frequently swear at us and the administration doesn't have a clue what they're doing. The internet filter doesn't know the difference from adult content to cheese, and the teachers get mad at you if you stay 2 minutes after the final bell. Many of the students say nasty things and are racist towards others.

The hallways are classrooms are kept clean and there is always suppervision from the teachers. It is a very safe school with lots of sports programs. It does not however, have any after school clubs such as art or drama.

I attend MHS right now and I personally hate it. The town itself isn't the best. There's no challenge academically and we aren't very prepared for college. If I were given the chance, I'd would move to attend a better school.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
