Utica was an amazing expeirence in my life. I was a military brat until i came to utica and decided this is whre i wanted to remain. I was an athelete and a drama club member and the school since my senior year 2008 has grown to accept this even more. It is a school who encourages you to be all you can. However i wont be nieve and say some students get left behind. But i blame that on the student them self. If i were a teacher i would have called it quits on quite a few more students then I saw get labeled as a lost cause. This is a great school all in all the student body is very close and the staff is doing their job and some even exceed the requirements. Ignore the students before who are the ones i mentioned earlier.

I would have to rate this school very high because very rarely do the have a fight there and it is very clean there. I really ejoy going there and I can't wait to see there play Les Miserables it sounds so great. There academic programs are so nice and that includes all the music and stuff. There level of parent envolment isn't so high though because they never tell the students when there will be an honors asembally so the parents can't come and I beleive that is just so mean. But parents are sometimes involved so things.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
