I am attened this school this year.I started going there in the begining of April 2008.From what i saw and what i learned i can honestly say that the teachers there dont care.I sat in class for a hour with nothing to do almost everyday. When we did have work it wasnt much and i finished fast.I understand now why this school does not have a high grade. If i were the one grading it i would give it a 'F'. Everyone there needs to put what they have to the fullest because i am not even being the least bit challenged.

I formerly attended this school and graduated before the new school was open (2005) If you can, send you child to the other school. This school is dirty, most teachers are poor (unless your child is in the honors or AP classes) and it is almost a dictatorship with rules. The school is greatly overburdened by crime, fights, and many more unmentionables. I feared going to school and even my bus ride to school. Send your kid elsewere!

Has began to greatly improve especially now that the new school has opened helping the major overcrowding issue.

I have had 2 students at Haines City High School both have been very positive. I think that if you have students that gets in trouble at school they will get in trouble at any school. If you have good students your student should have no problem at HCHS. HCHS has several good programs for the students to get involved in. HCHS has great teachers, and staff. The appearance of the school has improved greatly. Things are only getting better at HCHS.
