We love this school. I second all the positive reviews. Sprague is a fantastic school and community. Facilities are top-notch (most modern elementary school in town) from technology in the classroom to fully-accessible playground to accomodate students of all abilities. Teachers are passionate about what they do and care about bringing out the best in each student. Principal, teachers and PTO are active and accessible to parents' input. New principal this year (2010-11) is catching his stride but has been fantastic. Parent leadership has provided passion and continuity. Academics are strong, without creating pressure; using best of the modern teaching menthods and catered as much as possible to individual needs. Most notably, the community is welcoming and friendly; there are lots of opportunities to volunteer, get involved, and meet other families. My daughter is here now and LOVES it ... we do, too!

Robust learning environment with enthusiastic teachers. Students needing extra help are identified early and given the assistance they need. The facility itself is excellent. Thoughtfully designed and well maintained.

Great principal (although she's retiring at the end of this year, the 06/07 academic year), great teachers, and the building is beautiful. My son has been very happy here-in particular I highly recommend the music program. Good involvement from parents-every parent in my son's class participated in the classroom in some way during the last school year.

Great academic program. Loving atmosphere. The children are taught in a happy environment. The principal and teachers are proactive in identifying when children need extra help in reading and math. Outstanding environment for the children to successfully learn and grow.

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
