This is to whoever said this: "Great school but has too many students from other non-GP areas taking advantage of open enrollment. This leads to strained racial relations within the student body." Even though I do not attend this school, I would like to say that every student has the right to get an education wherever they would like IF it makes them be that much more successful in life. If people didn't have their aversions to diversity and actually accepting somebody of a different race or that may not be as fortunate as they are for once in their lives, maybe students wouldn't have such strained relationships amongst each other. Maybe this school should embrace diversity for once. You don't have to wear hollister, aeropostale, or ugg boots to be a good student. You don't have to live in a home with a $100,000 income or more to be a good student. And, you don't have to live in Grosse Pointe to be a good student, either.

I recently graduated from GPN. I cannot say enough about how much I loved it. Academically, there are so many different classes to take. Teachers constantly challenge their students to succeed. Teachers make themselves available for help and often will come in early or stay after school for help. There are so many different clubs and organizations to become involved in. In my opinion, GPN is what you make of it. If you want to slip by and take all of the easy classes, go ahead. If you want to take advantage of the extraordinary opportunities and challenges, then this is the school for you. One would be foolish not to tap in to the many resources that GPN makes available. From the outstanding faculty to the phenomenal student body, I am proud to say that I am a GPN graduate.

I am currently a student at GPN and I love it. The atmosphere is always positive and welcoming. Teachers work super hard to ensure that students have the best environment to work and learn in, plus they are always willing to help. There are so many different clubs, classes, and options available to students. All in all, it is a great school.

My son is going to be a junior this coming year, and he did very well this past year. The teachers always offered extra help if necassary and I was impressed with his report card. I very much like this school. Keep up the great work.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
