Their mantra is 'no one falls through the cracks' and it is absolutely true. It was the best decision I ever made to send my daughter to Doane. It says something about a school when alumns go back every chance they get.
I have 3 daughters that have been going to Doane for 7 years. The kids love going to this school. It's hard to get them to leave. The school is like an oasis.
My children attend this school. One day I had to stop by to drop off paperwork and a kindergartener held the door open for me. Every student I passed in the hall smiled with a welcoming 'hello'. Later that day when I picked my young daughter up from school, she got a 'high-five' from one of the upper school students. Community. This was what we were looking for. Respect. Each child is honored and gently taught virtues that hardly exist in other schools. The academics are above average. The student/teacher ratio is superb (and it shows in the confidence each child beams). The headmaster is very focused on improvement as a whole. My kids are hugged each afternoon by their teachers before they leave the school. Love. We have been very pleased.
