As a graduate of MSHS, the school provided an excellent educational experience and offered many courses of study. Top notch athletic facilities. Outstanding overall experience. Downside then and still, with the wealth, peer pressure and the availability of every drug on the market, parents need to talk openly with their children about the drug problem. Many parents were disconnected with their kids and too busy with their own lives to realize what their kids were spending their parents money on.

I am a graduate of MSHS and can honestly say that I could not have wished for anything more from my high school experience. The quality of the resources, teachers, and opportunities at Maine South are unparalleled. There really is an extracurricular for everyone. The teachers are excellent and create a great environment. I loved this school and would recommend it to anyone looking for a competitive high school and excellent preparation for college.

Kids from Maine South have nice cars, trendy clothes and cash, plenty of cash. The Maine South is perhaps one of the best public high schools in the area if you look at the scores. However, it seems that the school prefers not to face the overhelming drug problem. This school needs serious help from police and board of education.

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
