Not worth the money. There are much better Independent Schools within driving distance. They made my child sit alone at lunch and he came home extremely hungry each afternoon. They are very rigid.

My son attended, and my daughter's in kindergarten here (in her fourth year at the school). They have both been challenged, but based in their interests and in a supportive way. An excellent experience for socializing children in a friendly and intellectually stimulating environment. My many thanks to the teachers, staff, head of school, and Amherst Montessori community!

This school is fantastic. I never would have believed that a two-year-old could learn and do so much by herself if I had not seen what these teachers empowered my daughter to do. I came for childcare and stayed for Montessori education. It's change my children and me (as a parent) and I honestly belived Montessori education could change the world as a result of my experiences at Amherst Montessori. These are top-notch teachers, a great and friendly administrative staff and a community that I value being tied into to.

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
