Growing up I attended this school and now my child is attending as well. The school has change completely from when I was going. As far as parental involvement, I agree, it is needed. School has been in session for a while and I have not been given the opportunity to get involve so far. School needs to communicate with parents. Serurity level is high, but it limits the communication level with the teachers. Parents are not allow to go beyond the locked doors in the front be the main office.
Good school, some good teachers and staff. Needs more parent involvment and student/parent discipline. They have a after school program that should not be considered as a Child care facility.
