This is my daughters 2nd year at CMCA. We love it! She came out of kindergarten writing beautiful cursive, at a 1st grade math level and 2nd grade reading level. CMCA also teaches important values, so children treat eachother with respect. This school instills a love of learning in children and that going to school is about learning, not about what you wear or how popular you are in school. The teachers are wonderful and parents at this school are very involved. The direct teaching works for every child, and children are taught in small groups at the level they need. So they are challenged but not beyond their capabilities. Check out this school, it is wonderful!

We absolutely love this school - we were new last year and all three of our children have been challenged and pushed out of their comfort zones. I recently asked them if they would like to switch schools and all three said they never want to leave CMCA - they are proud of their school and what is expected of them - absolutely recommend this school without reservation.

Lets Just make this simple! Not recommended They do not live up too there own charter the filed when first operating! You better make sure that your student can pass the CSAP adn acheive and 84% in all classes. There charter states they will provide help for students that need help but they call it going above and beyond! It is Tood Bad

Before deciding on any school, do your research. CMCA isn't for everyone. If you do not want your child to learn in a structured environment, then CMCA is not for you. I can say that the high classroom structure has been exactly what my son has needed. There are minimal distractions and the focus is on learning not classroom management. Some of the reviews I have read stress the emphasis put on standardized testing. Check out the CMCA12.com website for an actual description of curriculum that the school uses. Unfortunately, schools are under tremendous pressure to perform well on standardized tests. CMCA does not teach to the test, but rather teaches the skills that are necessary to be successful on these tests. I cannot imagine sending my child to a different school. CMCA is providing him with a solid academic foundation.
