my son started as a kindergartner under the old principal and the school was wonderful - however 2 principals later and by 5th grade it had changed ....his teachers are excellent and committed however the principal seems more concerned with grades and numbers and how the school landscaping looks than with knowing the kids and their needs......if you are a parent used to being involved in your childs education you will not be welcomed here...until there is a change in principals i would not recommend this school
The ofiice staff at Idyllwilde needs to be better informed of who takes care of what there. They also don't seem to be very concerned with the children's safety in the in the school buses. No one seems to accept responsibility of kids who are being bullied and are bullies.
Idyllwilde is a very good school that has wonderful and helping teachers. They make it fun, and I feel at home there.
I would never want to have my children go to Idyllwilde School because the principle is very rude and my children do not need to see that.
