I proudly graduated from Wallenpaupack in 2003 after my grandmother taught there for 30 years. My little sister is currently in 8th. My mother, grandmother, uncle and aunt as well as great great's all graduated from Wallenpaupack area. I am currently employed in a position where i visit schools in Lycoming and Clinton counties and i can say that they don't even come close to Wallenpaupack. Everything from cleanliness, dicipline, security and friendliness! great school!

Wallenpaupack Middle School is the best school in the Poconos. The teachers are excellent and a fine example of discipline and respect. WASD curriculum is top notch which prepares the student for the real world. I would not send my daughter to any other school within this area. If you are looking for a private school setting and your child getting top notch education and respect for their community they live in then Wallenpaupack Area District School is the only best choice to make! There goal and dedication have turned my child into an outstanding academic achiever since she has been attending the school.

The school is wonderful! The teachers are wonderful. They really work hard at keeping the lines of communication open with parents and are truly dedicated to teaching their students. Both my children, ages 9 and 11 love their school!

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
