Garner is a place where the teachers truly care about each student and do their best to ensure that individuals succeed. For such a small school, a wide variety of activities exist for students. We feel blessed that our kids have such a great educational foundation for their future thanks to their experiences at Garner.

This school is all work and not much play. They push their kids way to hard and there is not time for them to have to just be kids. This is why we are not enrolled any longer.

This is one of the best schools to prepare students for High School. The top students at this school usually excel in High School. I would rate it an 8.

We came from a big school last year and unlike one of the reviews on here i think that the schhol is great. Yes the junior high does need more activities but maybe that is where that parent needs to come in and make suggestions or volunteer to organize it. It is a little school unlike the bigger city school funds are smaller. One thing that was very awesome is that the fifth grade class goes to camp well in the bigger schools the family always has to pay for the camp here at garner the fundraisers actually pay for that which is probably the first time in any school that i have actually seen where all that fundraising money goes, i am glad it went to all those children so that they can have this wonderful experience like we did in 5th grade. There was not a child left out.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
