I am a senior of the class of 2009. This school is one of the most sprited around. I have had a wonderful experience here. I would not be the same if I did not attend Bradford Central School
This small school offers what is state mandated. Course selection is limited for the students due to the small number of faculty available to teach. Compared to neighboring school districts, music, art and sports offering is minimal. I would encourage parents to send their child elsewhere to school.
Bradford's small school atmosphere is just the thing we were looking for in a place to educate our children. Students receive individual attention and the teachers in the building really know all of the students. It feels wonderful to know that when I send my children to school every day, they are spending time with adults that care about them and they are safe. I have never seen a faculty and staff that is as dedicated to student success, both academically and personally. Sending my children to Bradford is like getting a private school education with a public school price tag.
Bradford is a school where the statistics do not reflect the true quality of the school. It is truly a place where students learn life lessons. This is a school that students can be proud of. The buildings and grounds are spotless and well-maintained. Students feel that they are part of the community and care about their surroundings, as can be seen by the lack of graffiti, vandalism, and litter. They learn to be kind to others and are considerate of the different ages within the building. It is a place where seniors step aside to allow the line of Pre-K students to 'walk the tightrope' down the center of the hall. Students learn to interact peacefully and considerately with everyone. Academic programs teach the 'whole child,' not just the state test. Extracurricular activities are varied and allow students to become well-rounded individuals by participating in many different areas.
