LMA was a wonderful school when it opened for enrollment 9 years ago. It was a school any parent who chose it for their children could rest assured it was the best choice in the area. Over the last couple of years it has taken a turn for the worse and it became apparent to many enrolled families that the school was definately on the decline and the missing key ingredient of having a skilled and in place admisinstration was definately going to spiral the school into a huge decline in enrollment. Seventeen days from the completetion of the 2007-08 school year, (5) long term families pulled their 6th, 7th and 8th grade students from the LMA program. Communication is a key ingredient in any school between teachers and families, and LMA is in desperate need of better communication skills. Do your homework before you chose LMA for your child.

I have two girls who attend LMA and find the school really does teach each child individually. My oldest is what other schoos may term as a high performance learner and needs extra challenges which LMA certainly offers. My other daughter has to work hard for her grades and her teacher is certainly flexible and accomodating to those needs while keeping high expectations. The school also has a family environment. Each child is responsible to themselves and others which I appreciate. Each teacher is passionate about what they do and that each child succeed not only accedemically but also in being a well rounded person. Our school put on a musical for the last 3 years that was high quality. Most kids are never exposed to something like this. If you're looking into schools please consider LMA .

My son has gone to this school since he was in preschool. He is now a 6th grader, and I think it is a wonderful school! the teachers are great and I wouldn't want him in any other school. The classes are smaller but, that is fine, because he gets more attention and he learns at a better pace. My mother is a teacher in another school district and she agrees with me that this school is a great! I would hope that more parents would consider this school over the other schools available. The other parents that have their children here agree with me, that we hope that some day this school will be a preschool-12th grade. I know that I would want my son to stay here if it happens. My son definetly will be here through 8th grade for sure.
