I love the school. There is simply no other way to speak about the school. Hun provides an amazing experience because it is so small, and because it has so much pride inside. Hun is full of kids who love it, whether or not their a varisty oathlete or in the next school play. One thing great about the school is that Varisty athletes also do the plays and aren't ashamed, but encouraged by there fellow students, teachers, and coaches to do so. I have never attended a school like this before. Being around such diveristy is a great experience, especially for boardrs. The Hun School truly changed my life.
Although not a parent at Hun, I teach there - and would like to add obsevations from that direction. The Hun School challenges its teachers as well as students. It provides a wonderful atmosphere to learn for everyone. It also competes at the highest levels in all of its athletics, and combines that with a tremendous arts program. I have worked at four other schools throughout the country, but none of them compare to the personalized attention and feeling of community that one gets from The Hun School of Princeton!
Having sent both our sons there the best way I can sum it up was when my son said' It is cool to be smart here and still play varsity athletics' In a word they care!
I graduated from Hun and it was the best experience for me. You meet students from all over the world and experience different cultures. The teachers all work with you and are excellent. There are numerous sports to choose from for example, soccer, basketball, football, wrestling, ice hockey, fencing, cross country, track, etc. I think out of the 3 years I only had one teacher that I didn't like. I started out at public school and I hated it. The teachers at public school never helped me and I was only a number in a big class ..at HUN everyone helps you learn and it's a wonderful experience. I am still in touch with friends and The Hun School. I highly recommend this School.
