Chipaman is a pretty good school! when it comes to the work they are there to help you suceed! the students are great! the teachers are ohkey they have their moments and so do the teachers!

Chipman School has been a great school for my 6th grader this year. Like all parents, I was nervous. I had heard rumors about the tough kids and low test scores, so I looked at many schools besides Chipman. I am glad we choose Chipman. In spite of recent changes in administration, the teachers have remained strong. They continue to collaborate with each other to find ways to best serve all of our children. The teachers truly care about the students. They assign fun and interesting projects that keep my child engaged. They offer many ways for parents to be involved in their child's education. The bottom line for me is that my daughter is learning and she is happy. What more could a parent ask from a school?

Chipman Middle School is one of the worst schools I have ever had to deal with. The adminstration changes every other year, so that is less guidance for the teachers. If you have a child that struggles with school you can forget aobut anyone helping that child they just fail them. The teachers don't even try to help with the exception of about fouor teachers the rest are absolutely horrible and should find new careers. As a parent I can not wait for my child to be rid of that school.

My daughter is a seventh grader at Chipman. I am so greatful that we live on the West End and that Chipman is our community school! She has had great teachers, interesting assignments, and has really built her confidence and learning skills. When I attended bring your parent to school day I was very impressed, you could see how much the teachers care.
