I have a 6th grader at Allen MS. The 6th grade team here are vibrant top-notch professionals. Teachers engage the students at their level and treat them with respect & understanding. The staff at AMS is very helpful & friendly as well. Very pleased with this wonderful learning environment for adolescents.

The teachers here at ams are the best. The teachers I have do not give up. The computer , math, la, ss, science, etc are the best teachers. There is not much bullying but the teachers and staff are doing there BEST to stop the bullying at all matters. This is the best middle school to go to. I love it here. I am a smart student because of the school and school districtm!

Bullying is a problem at AMS. Even with notification to the teacders, principal, guidance counselor, etc. little is done to address the problem. Teachers are also not receptive to hearing from parents. Children are expected to all learn the same way regardless of their own learning differences. A few teachers are qualified but many are just there for a paycheck (and it shows in their attitude).

Allen Middle schools teachers are about the best in the state. They are caring, knowledgeable, understanding etc. etc. I can not say enough about their superior abilities. I have had 5 children in the WSSD and Allen is certainly the best. Guardian of 8th Grader

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
