My 2 daughters graduated from Walnut High school, then go to UC very easy because the high school prepared my children to be ready for college since they were in High School. High quality teachers.
Fabulous school - i only wish they could accommodate all the students who really need to take a summer school class! Especially students entering their senior year! Regulating the number of courses and giving students who have not taken over the required classes should be given a preference instead of the lottery system.
Good school, nice teachers but staff that work in the office is extremely rude! Their tone in their voices when they talk is not friendly at all. The staff I talked to wouldn't even listen to my problems and already had an unfriendly tone in her voice. They need to improve on office staff; they're extremely rude.
I really take pride into going to Walnut High and my friends from other schools wish they went here! The teachers are the best and although the school is public, the honors classes are taught at private school-level. It's a privilege to go to WHS and many of my peers and classmates don't understand how thankful they should be to go here, since it's a lot better than other California schools in many ways.
